Trend & market research before each season, including shopping trips to places such as New York City or Portland for inspiration.
Strong conceptualization sketching ability.
Stay up-to-date with fashion, color, and trends to make sure all designs are current and exciting. Create cohesive collections thorough colors, materials, and details.
Work alongside the Design Director, meeting with clients together or by myself, before creating complete collections based on these requests.
Very knowledgeable in creating thorough CADS for each sku, including; side profile, top view, back view, outsole view
Follow up with all designs, making adjustments in patterns, materials, colors, and finishing details for each sample during the manufacturing process overseas.

Shadowed Senior Industrial Designer in the conceptualization and production of numerous furniture pieces ranging from coffee tables to wine cellar installations. Sketching, and 3-d modeling in Rhino, as well as designing graphics and book layouts for clientele project presentations are just some of the tasks I took on during my time as ID Intern.
