    Hello, Bonjour, Aloha, Kon’ichiwa!

I am currently the chargée de communication at SMG agency where I work on digital communications content strategy for a variety of SMBs and larger companies including EU Healthcare, Estee Lauder, OECD, and the American Chamber of Commerce.

I have a rich 7-year background as a creative multimedia content specialist where I’ve nurtured my passions for creative problem solving, storytelling, and collaboration across teams to develop innovative, emotion-stirring content that also generates results. My ability to condense complex information and ideas into a simple visual concept are unmatched.

I began my professional career in the Washington, D.C area managing political ads for the 2010 midterm elections working with notable clients such as Barack Obama and Governor Martin O’Malley. Following the election season I worked as the in-house multimedia content specialist at Remedy Health Media, a leading digital health agency providing content, tools, and immersive storytelling experiences across a variety of digital and print platforms. I had many roles and responsibilities during my 5 years at Remedy; I was a writer, videographer, interactive media storyteller, graphic designer, and content manager. I was responsible for managing over 20 professional medical writers and creating innovative content including immersive storytelling custom products, infographics, slideshows, animations and videos. My breadth of experience at Remedy has given me a holistic approach to creative content creation and problem solving, taking into consideration the needs of all stakeholders and efficiently managing creative initiatives while juggling projects.

Additionally, I work as a freelance graphic designer and social media specialist, which has allowed me the opportunity to work with a variety of clients with creative needs ranging from logo work, UX design, feature infographics, illustrations, and social media content..

When I’m not digitally brainstorming, I can be found strolling flea markets and museums, traveling, exercising, trying new restaurants, listening to live music and playing with fashion.

I have a can-do attitude and am an energetic individual who is always up for meeting others and being inspired.

  • Education
    • MA Global Communications
      The American University of Paris
      2016 - 2017
I just graduated with my Masters in Global Communication with a focus on tourism branding and advertising for a global audience. During my program I had the unique opportunity of meeting with a variety of leaders in contemporary media hotspots in London. I received a well-rounded understanding of the industry by learning the ins-and-outs of advertising, PR, metrics and engagement, social media strategy, and news broadcasting from the digital pioneers of Saatchi & Saatchi, Young and Rubicam, Battenhall, Hudson Sandler, Nielson, and the BBC. The experience gave me a well-rounded understanding of how digital communications work across a variety of fields as well as together and what it takes to stand out in the industry and generate results for clients. Additionally, the practicum reaffirmed my passions for all things digital and left me as inspired as ever to work in digital advertising. I believe that effective communication needs to be based on a foundation of cultural understanding, solid theory, artistic innovation, and practice, and the program at AUP is an established leader in all of these areas. The impressive portfolios of alumni and staff are a testament to the institution. In my time here, I intend to expand my advertising and branding knowledge and become a worldlier citizen accustomed to taking risks and better equipped to serve the digital communications needs of a worldwide audience. •During my time at AUP I was the Art Director for the PEACOCK magazine. I was responsible for the visual style, layout and imagery of the Peacock magazine, AUP’s student run, biannual magazine publication. I lead and managed a team of 5 photographers, illustrators, and photo editors to develop beautiful and engaging artwork that appeals to the student demographic of Paris as it is distributed throughout the city.
    • BA Electronic Media & Theatre Performance
      University of Wisconsin- Whitewater

During my college career I juggled many creative responsibilities including running my radio show on the university station, creating promos and graphics for the campus TV station and newspaper and starring in many theatrical productions - most notably as Wendy in Peter Pan at the Young Auditorium. I also was awarded several academic scholarships and worked as a Resident Assistant.
