As a visual designer, American specializes in typography, whether it be crafting bold headlines or arranging fine bodies of text. Because of his background in visual art he also has a keen eye for pairing text and image in a cohesive and engaging manner. American’s design style is inspired by gothic display typography, contemporary minimalist aesthetics, and the seductive imagery of fashion and art.
American has extensive professional knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, with additional experience in Adobe Lightroom, After Effects, and Dreamweaver. He is skilled in HTML and CSS coding languages with some experience in Javascript and PHP. And has created CGI models using Blender and SketchUp and managed content for a company website through CMS including Wordpress. -
