Assistant to Senior designer on concept team. Color and trend research, design, and develop trendy accessories. Accessory designs range from jewelry, to cosmetic bags, to slippers. In addition, support seasonal presentations through cross functional collaboration with the Marketing team to create large scale trend right displays.

Assist Senior Concept Designer by conducting in-depth consumer focused color and trend research. Prepare mood boards with imagery supportive of seasonal concept direction. Aid with the maintenance and management of color library. Create and prepare in-depth seasonal concept displays for line reviews. Ability to create and communicate fresh ideas both orally and visually within a team environment.

Lectured and taught an intensive workshop for Fiber Reactive dyeing techniques on natural cotton fibers. Supported members of Chocolate Cake Design Collective to create an ombre inspired outdoor installation at Belle Isle in Detroit, Michigan.

Prepared costumes on set, managed all alterations, sewing, prop designing, and fabric dyeing. Archived costume collection, purchased new and vintage garments, and built relationships with business partners. Achieved all design objectives working in an intense and fast paced environment under strict deadlines.

Artist Residency program in a creative community setting. Lived and worked on campus as one of twelve studio artists. Supported and helped manage housekeeping duties for entire campus.

Focused on illustration fundamentals as applied to the fashion figure. Taught live model sketching, magazine collage, texture drawing and introduced color theory.

Reported to Fiber Department Head Susan Aaron-Taylor. Duties included maintenance of dye and screen-printing studios, student aid for digital fabric printing and traditional fiber making.

Assisted teachers with students during classroom and museum lessons. Taught private drawing and painting classes.
