About
Currently own my own business, April Katherine Design, LLC, where I provide a variety of companies with product design (soft goods and hard goods) and development services, trend research and board development, as well as use my industry experience to help companies make presentations to major retailers. I also provide US representation for overseas companies, and help companies brainstorm new ideas and innovations to improve their product offerings.
Product categories that I have designed into include: toss pillows, rugs, planters, candle holders, doormats, furniture covers, patio umbrellas, bath textiles, and stationary.
I pride myself as someone with the unique ability to successfully design both textile patterns as well as decorative hard goods, and creating successful collections of coordinated products when the two product types are unified together. -
