Rooftop Retreat - A multi-disciplinary gallery installation in downtown San Francisco. I use the rooftop as a metaphor for shifting perspectives and exploring an aerial point of view. My thesis examines the way we think about refuge in our urban environment. Graphic design sensibilities, fine art, and architectural psychology come together to create innovative thinking about the way we live. I give participants the opportunity to assess and draw their own conclusions about personal space.

Rooftop Retreat - This large-scale book details the process of designing a rooftop home through sketches, quotes, research and other articles of inspiration. The typographic grid is modeled after the Manhattan street grid, even the name, Thompson Street, is taken from a lower Manhattan address where I enjoyed roof access and excellent views of downtown and its watertowers.

Rendering Space - A large-format book (18 x 12 inches) about the spaces which surround us and the long-lasting impact they have on our lives. I explore places that influenced change and architecture which sheltered and provided comfort. Rendering Space is a testament to fleeting places, and places I found along a journey, a book about the power of memory and the passage of time.
