I am an architectural/interior designer with 20+ years of design and architecture experience looking for a good opportunity. I have worked for two of the well-known architectural and interior design firms where I have been involved in several significant architectural and interior projects. These projects include commercial office interiors, retail stores, banks, energy company interiors, show suites, designer boutiques, office buildings and high-rise towers, critical facilities, schools and institutional buildings. I was closely working with the Principal in Charge, Head Designer and the Senior Project Manager from the schematic design phase to project close-out, for which I have experience with all phases of the project. I was also involved in client relationship and project interviews at the early phase of the project. During construction I had a good relationship and coordination with the contractors, which allowed the projects to run smoothly and completed on time. I had also organized staff training programs within the firms, under which I used to teach and train staff about the new programs and technology in the design and construction industry. Currently I am teaching Architecture and Interior Design at Visual College of Art and Design (VCAD) Calgary as part-time instructor. I do have expertise in the construction industry computer programs. Autodesk Revit, 3Dmax, AutoCAD, Navisworks, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suites, to name a few.

In my leisure time I like to do furniture/product designing and photography. My photographs had been exhibited at Houston Art Alliance (HAA), Houston. Also I have been involved in various community work organized by Odia Social and Cultural Association of Alberta (OSCAA), Odisha Culture Center (OCC), Houston. I have completed my graduation with a M.S in Architecture degree from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX in 2009, and earned my Bachelor of Architecture from College of Engineering and Technology, O.U.A.T, India in 2002.
