John Lewis

In my art I work with form, narrative, and symbolic elements in a figurative format. I attended the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art from 1994 to 1996 in New York City; I studied drawing, painting, and sculpture. I have worked as a muralist for the Mural Arts Program for the City of Philadelphia, completing dozens of public art projects. My work as a muralist captures my love of drawing, painting, portraiture, and storytelling. I now freelance as a muralist and portrait artist.
