My name is Ashley Moore. I graduated from Harding University with a BFA in Graphic Design. I am from Cary, North Carolina. My favorite hobby is knitting because it allows me to express my creativity. Just like graphic design, knitting begins with a vision and the tools to achieve it. The creative outcome makes the hard work rewarding. I strive to apply my knowledge and skills in the field of graphic design while further improving upon my strengths. I aim to build a career as a highly motivated, team-oriented leader contributing to the success of an established company.

TypesetterCary, NCJun 2012 - Mar 2014 (1 year 9 months)Typesetter: Managed the order fulfillment process, completing layouts, sending and revising proofs before printing.
Prepress: Completed all the steps required to turn the final proof into a ready to print document.
Templates for printing: Collected and organized artwork from multiple vendors, identified and corrected errors, created templates to make artwork suitable for typesetting and printing.
Images for website: Utilized templates to prepare artwork for the website. Worked to showcase different vendors while maintaining consistency across the website’s branding. -
Design InternSearcy, ARAug 2011 - Dec 2011 (4 months)Had the opportunity to be exposed to all parts of a printing press business. In addition to working on the artistic design in the pre-press process, was also able to learn the operation of the press itself. Harding Press serves the university and the local community’s high-end printing needs.

Design InternCary, NCMay 2011 - Jul 2011 (2 months)Exposed to the digital world of design. Had the opportunity to observe and contribute to app design, web design, and mobile web design. In addition to the design experience, had the opportunity to work in a team with behaviorists, account managers, and other creative members.
