Designing prints for the upcoming SS16 collection.

VIP dressing with supporters such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Helen Mirren, Samantha Cameron, and most recently, Naomi Campbell.

Due to the praise of my design work during my time at Huishan Zhang, I was asked to continue on, developing the print stories for Pre SS/16, which will be shown at London Fashion Week.

I was approached by this company to sell a print collection for phone/tablet cases, along with home furnishing products.

My responsibilities included:
Helping to design a placement prints for custom-made Met Gala dresses for private clients.
Admin responsibilities regarding emailing clients and sending samples out to them, completing the paper work to ensure the location of each garment.
Designing invitations for the AW15 collection presentation, as well as repeat and placement prints for the collection.
Creating show and commercial look books.
Assisting during buyer’s meetings.
Carrying out research for the SS16 pre collection, and pitching the ideas to the Designers.

Assisting the stylist and casting director during model casting. Teaching other interns how to dress certain looks for the show. Help organise the group of interns transporting the collection to show location. Backstage dressing at the AW15 show.

‘Surrey Dining Pub of the Year 2012/2015’ by ‘The Good Pub Guide’ with one aspect congratulated being the quality of service.

My responsibilities as acting Restaurant Manager involve:
Being in charge of up to ten staff, delegating tasks to ensure the quality of service and running of the dining area is smooth and stress-free during a busy shift.
Focusing on customer satisfaction, and if a customer is unhappy, taking the initiative to ensure they will still visit again.
Building a loyal relationship with local customers.

Responsibilities involved:
Re-colouring and colour separating designs for clients.
Attending buyers meetings to pitch the latest designs.
Working to customer and internal briefs to produce commercial designs.
Undertaking research to determine market trends.
Completing design specifications and colour reference pages to send to overseas factories.
Creating trend boards for the latest season.
Carrying out general admin tasks to assist with the general running of the company, building relationships with buyers and overseas factory workers, booking-in samples to ensure an easy-flowing and organized running of the company.

My responsibilities included organising archive collections, and preparing samples ready for client meetings. After 2 weeks interning at the company, I was also able to take part in the designing process, drawing for Autumn/Winter 2015 collections for both screen printing and digital.
