She is an experienced women’s apparel design industry professional who has held senior design and management positions, with large-scale and small-scale retailers, across the fast-fashion and luxury market sectors. Her talents and expertise span across all facets of design from initial design concept through to retail production. She has lived and worked across Europe, and additionally in Morocco. She has traveled internationally for fabric shows, and competitive market trend research & shopping. Belen has also managed sourcing and development, hands-on off-site, including countries in Asia and Africa. Her expertise extends across multiple woven and jersey knit categories including: Dresses, Sportswear (Hard and Soft piece goods, Tailored, and Related Separates, Cut-n-Sewn Knit).
