Benjamin Miller

My name is Ben Miller and I am an Industrial Designer. Currently, I am enrolled at Carleton University’s School of Industrial Design up in Ottawa. I am in my 3rd year of study and currently looking for a work placement. I love the design challenge and how it constantly forces me to think in new ways. From beautiful furniture to large installations, I enjoy every opportunity for good design to show through a product. To be open minded is an attribute that has really helped me in my past years to learn and understand peoples' needs, as I believe Industrial Design is so much more than ‘making things look nice’. Instead, I see Industrial Designers as hardworking listeners that merge knowledge, style, and practicality to solve real world issues for the people that can’t be heard.
