As Director of Strategy & Creative, I am responsible for thought leadership and developing the creative vision for a multi-disciplinary team of Graphic Designers, 3D Modelers, Industrial Designers and Copywriters. I define the creative strategy and approach to each project that is going to deliver the best end-user experience that meets our client’s project, business and marketing objectives. My passion for design allows me to synthesize massive amounts of information into thoughtful brand insights and experiences that engage audiences. Whether developing compelling consumer engagements for companies like Google and Target or helping an emerging brand tell their story for the first time in retail, I am the guardian of our clients’ brand experience from strategy to storefront.
Primary Responsibilities
+ Shepherd a cross-disciplinary team of designers through the creative process from initial strategy and design development through production.
+ Provide coaching, set team priorities, develop work assignment process, develop strategic and tactical plans for the creative team
+ Develop, disseminate and guide creative vision for all RFPs, projects and design deliverables towards industry-defining creative solutions

+ Leveraged design insights and industry best-practices to bring efficiency and clarity to the company through the development of new processes and operations
+ Concepted, developed and launched a rebrand of the company including the creation of a new identity and marketing tools to support the business

As Design Lead at Make Retail, I was responsible for small-scale creative team oversight and the development of creative in partnership with our Creative Director and executive leadership. In the absence of a Creative Director, I lead project strategy, wrote creative briefs and personally executed a range of design solutions including marketing & packaging, UI mock-ups, pitch presentations, and 3D rendering post-production. Frequently collaborated cross-functionally to build my skills and knowledge of experience design to develop compelling solutions for client teams within Google including Android, Chrome, Chromecast, Google Play, and OnHub. My creative leadership, strategic thinking and proactivity in this role resulted in the execution of hundreds of client projects and my promotion to a Director role.
