Having studied BA Product Design at Nottingham Trent, graduating in '05, I went on practice furniture design in Italy and graphic design in the UK. The last five years I have been a Designer and Project Manager in a yacht design consultancy, working predominantly with ship yards in Italy and New Zealand.

Towards the end of 2012 the time came for a career recalibration and redirection, I embarked upon a Masters in Design for Development at Kingston University, soon to be completed...

"The Design for Development MA is aimed at designers who want to redirect their practice towards progressive sustainability and social agendas. The course focuses on the value of design as a vehicle for addressing social and ecological concerns in both developed and developing world settings."

This portfolio is missing the last five years of design practice, watch this space for updates.

Having advanced within this internationally renowned consultancy from Junior Designer over a three-year period, to confidently designing and managing the build of beautiful yacht interiors that surpass clients’ expectations. Translating a design language into workable architecture, furniture and spaces whilst ensuring the integrity of the initial concept is not lost through the lengthy build and development process.

Also, through to the closing stages a new build 39m Explorer Yacht built in New Zealand and launched at the end of 2012. As a parting project, I lead the design and project management of a series of three 41m semi-custom motor yatch interiors, now in production in Italy.
