Responsibilities include the receipt, sorting, assessment, and refurbishment of returning surgical instrument-evaluation credits as well as client-purchased instruments that are in need of warrantied repairs and refurbishment. Refurbishments are done through the use of various stationary buffing and grinding stations, as well as the use of smaller hand tools for fine-tuning. Other duties include the assembly of some instruments, as well as the general upkeep and maintenance of the shop.

I have designed and fabricated furniture pieces on a commission basis met with and interpreted the client's ideas and input for the pieces that were to be made. I also troubleshot design issues so as to meet the client's wishes concerning the design and completion of the finished pieces.

Responsibilities include the first stage assembly, de-burring, routing, quality check testing, and final stage assembling of the panels used by Bellcomb Technologies in various applications. Other duties, such as maintenance and cleaning, are performed as time and workload dictate.

Responsibilities included the design, fabrication and installation of adaptive technology for clients who have experienced stroke, spinal injury and/or other physical limitations. These adaptations are made custom to each client so that they are given the opportunity to live life to its fullest. I am also responsible for the management of our volunteer staff and the delegation of fabrication projects to the members of that staff.

Responsibilities included the preparation of materials that were to be sandblasted and/or painted. Set up files to be cut out on masking cutter and prepared the masking material to be applies to various materials. Sand blasted various pieces as per client request.

Responsibilities included preparation of materials for fabrication and assembly of scenic elements according to blueprints and the maintenance, repair and rehab of existing scenic elements. I am experienced in the construction of wood platforms, steel support structures, suspended prop and backdrop frames, and miscellaneous 3d forms in various materials. Responsibilities included the general maintenance and upkeep of shop and tools therein. This included the troubleshooting of equipment problems as they arose and the speedy but safe resolution of the problem. I trained students in the steps involved to safely use the tools and worked with them to tackle process issues they might be having on their projects. Co-workers and I worked closely to ensure a safe environment. My duties also included fabrication work for other departments, as well as work in the digital fabrication labs.
