Born and raised in the Sunshine State, I am finally adapting to a cooler climate as I complete my BFA in Industrial Design at the Rhode Island School of Design. Always keen in math and science with an interest in art and design, I found myself able to synthesize both in the field Industrial Design.

Currently, I am working for CreativeMornings, a lecture series for creative types and writing as a contributor to Core77. Have a suggestion? Reach out via email or Twitter.

As a TEDActive Intern, my role is to convey the project prompts to the school, create and manage teams to work on them, as well as present the final results at the 2013 conference.

Upon becoming the elected student representative of RISD’s Industrial Design Department my sophomore year, Isaac Blankensmith and I noticed there was little publicly available online information regarding the program. To address this problem, we developed and presented a proposal to the head of the department and received funding to launch a school-based blog featuring industrial design alumni and current students, including collecting and posting images of their work.
