World Class Photographs
My brief was to come up with 6 images based on a theme from the Sony World Photography Awards 2014. I picked the subject matter: ‘people in their environment’ primarily so I could catch an insight or even a glimpse into other people’s way of life. We are all unique individuals with countless varieties of passions and hobbies. Moreover, I wanted to explore a hobby that has always appeared fascinating to me and taken my breathe away when I have spectated: BMXING. Additionally, it’s adrenaline sports like these that inspire me in my work. The riders have no fear. No limits. They’re creative. They’re determined. And these are all qualities that I admire and strive towards achieving.
