I picked up my first camera when I was 9 years old. I was at my godmother's baby shower, and right away I began walking around and finding things to photograph. I even took a few minutes to direct my little cousins, then just a few years old, into various poses. I remember bringing the photos back to their parents and watching them look at them as they smiled and laughed at the images I had captured. Not only had I found something I enjoyed, I realized even then that it was also something I could use to make others happy beyond just myself. These are my roots in photography, and in the years since then, my love for photography has grown more than I can say. It's a part of who I am, and no matter where I go, a camera comes with me. I love the fact that I can capture fleeting moments and make them much more permanent, and it's a joy to find art everywhere I go, whether it be on a trip, a photoshoot, or just within every day life. I am currently in Santa Barbara, California during the school year (End of August-beginning of May) and Cleveland, Ohio during the summers (Mid May-Mid August).
