Senior Designer
Feb 2018 - Mar 2022 (4 years 1 month)
My role at Jack Mason has evolved with the company. As parts of the business phase in and out I have taken on a higher responsibility in managing the product design side of our business. In addition to regular design work, I now manage one other designer. We run as a mostly autonomous team with some oversight and final sign off from the creative director. I delegate priorities and projects to keep work balanced on our small team. Though specific communications are split on a per project basis, I run the weekly call with our supplier and interject when needed to help communications. I also manage the our calendar, project tracker, and repair tracker.

Designer
Jun 2016 - Feb 2018 (1 year 8 months)
In my first 2 years at Jack Mason, I took over managing the entire lifestyle watch line for both men's and women's. I was responsible for development of line extensions and new product. In addition, I lead a complete redesign of the licensed NCAA and NFL product we produced at the time. Through this redesign we were able to cut component liability to almost a non-factor in our ordering scheme. Near the end of 2016, I designed and lead the launch of a new proprietary brand called Canton and Hall. I was given full creative control with only the brand name, rough aesthetic, and pricing targets in the design brief. This brand was developed and sold in to Nordstrom in a little over a month. In the second half of 2017, I began development as the lead designer on our Fall 2018 launch of private label watches for Lucky Brand. I was responsible for designing both men's and women's product for this brand in addition to helping merchandise, line-assort, and create sales collateral.

Associate Watch Designer
Feb 2015 - May 2016 (1 year 3 months)
As I moved up at Fossil, I continued to focus on bringing new stories and concepts to my team. I often was one or two seasons ahead of others on my team which left lots of room for blue sky thinking. At this time, Fossil transitioned the entire company to a formal PLM system, my aptitude for process thinking and troubleshooting helped me lead my team to be one fo the most efficient in the system. I helped train and download other teams in the company on our process and brought helpful feedback to the PLM management team to improve the system.

Assistant Watch Designer - Fossil Men's
Jul 2013 - Feb 2015 (1 year 7 months)
This was my first job out of college. As an entry level designer I was in charge of development and management of several watch platforms. I also worked within our team to create compelling seasonal stories based off of fashion trends and our brand DNA. As I designed new cases and concepts I would also manage their rollout into the watch line.
