Cenwynn Philip

I can trace my passion for design back to primary school, where a teacher introduced me to Adobe Photoshop. Yes, all we learnt was to put each others heads on to Star Wars characters, but this has stuck with me ever since.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Design (honours 2:1) in Industrial Design from Massey University in Wellington. Subsequently, I pursued experience in marketing and am currently looking for a shift back into design.

Highlights?

- I approached, pitched and was successful in securing a marketing manager role for a small group of independent pubs in London.

- Tablet satchel design being used in major London and USA airports.

- Working for a company that produced apps for the disability sector. Being highly involved in user experience and user interface design and part of the team that won a Queen's Award for Innovation of Enterprise in 2014.

- Group furniture project that went into production and is installed along the Plimmerton promenade (Wellington, NZ).
