Doll size version of dress to practice different techniques and see what different hem styles looked like. I ended up choosing the folded bubble hem for added fullness and removed the shoulder seams.

Frost Fairy Dress
This is a design I came up with for a Moscowraid fashion show project we were assigned is Apparel Design II. Entire garment is made of up-cycled materials. The silver sateen and white tulle is from an old stained prom dress I bought from Goodwill and the sheer blue is from an old curtain. The hem of the white tulle was bound in a lighter silver sateen that I carefully removed and re-sewed and then used for the lace-back loops and lace-up ribbon. All snowflakes were purchased.
Finished product was entered in the Moscowraid Fashion Show.
