I am a designer with an expertise in outdoor apparel, performance wear, activewear and swimwear. I have the ability to execute marketable, user-based concepts set from company-wide goals as a result of technical and conceptual skills gained in Milan, New York, Boston, and Portland.

Eager and curious about exploring new products and sports in the activewear and outerwear industries, I additionally have a strong desire to learn and build upon my strong textiles knowledge for the high quality designs I produce. Creatively, I am most efficient while collaborating in a very diverse team-oriented environment to find new, innovative design solutions with adventurous coworkers. Experience in small companies as well as large corporations allows me to be flexible and interact with team members from many backgrounds.

    Specialties:

-Translates design direction into exploratory work with prototypes, on both apparel and packs

-Supports and translates consumer feedback from wear testing into productive product changes

-Responds well to team collaboration and feedback regarding product direction

-Eager to take on new responsibilities and projects regarding any part of the production or design process

-Ability to generate applicable consumer research in relation to current design goals, cross category and company wide

-Executes design sketches with color and material to create a harmonized, fresh collection

I find gear and apparel a harmonious duo, as one must consider both when crafting a successful product. My unique skillset in textiles, apparel, and my desire to continue learning more about gear will ultimately allow me to exceed in improving apparel for our climb, hike, ride, jog, or last run on the mountain.
