An essential seafood staple in the southern United States, Captain D’s Seafood had over 550 restaurant locations, but many of them looked outdated and were underperforming. Purchased by an investor group with the intent of a national rollout, the brand needed an update to remain relevant in the competitive restaurant climate.

A new brand strategy was identified – one that appealed to a larger national audience – centered on the concept of a fresh seafood marketplace. The new brand experience was expressed through an updated identity, tagline, visual language, interior design and architecture.
