I believe that a designer needs some kind of understanding of business and marketing. To be able to understand what way is the most effective to market a product or service, and also to be able to understand the client's way of working. Therefor I chose to study business and marketing before going to design school at Parsons School of Design. I believe that my two degrees will help me a lot in my career.
