Connecting Point - When plugged into a computer's USB port, this smaller than palm-size device updates that computer's settings, desktop, etc. to reflect your personal preferences, files, and workspace. All form development, industrial and mechanical design completed by me. SLA prototypes created for client using my Solidworks files.
Stand - Oak plywood stand, 48h x 12w x 12d. Custom furniture designed and built for private client. Total project time: 48 hours from start to finish.
LEAN - LEAN is an exploration in form and in finding the essence of a chair. As the profile was stripped down to the essential lines, additional uses emerged: a stool, a backrest, and stackability. By using only the most necessary lines of a chair the form allowed more advantages. In this case, less really is more.
Write-Light - Project sponsored by Coleman. By focusing in on key original and given market research findings, a concept for emeregency home lighting was developed for the female market using Coleman positioning and branding. The Write-Light is a cross between a dry erase board, architectural panel light, and photosensor emergency light. Since the light is used in everyday use, the consumer knows where it is and how it works, (key features in an emergency), and allows life to continue as usual during power outages.
Award - A series of 10 new awards was developed for Stillwater Awards, focusing in on design freshness, and the client's in-house capabilities. Shown are some of my designs that are being produced utilizing various materials.
