Them Bones - Outdoor Playset - Them Bones is an outdoor playset concept incorporating modular vertebrae which allow the unit to "grow". The structure provides attachment points for accessories as well as additional customization. The head's for hiding, the tail's for sliding. Ribs anchor the structure to posts buried in the ground. Head and tail are rotationally-molded polyethylene; ribs and vertebrae are blow-molded with strengthening inserts. Independent design project completed while at the Cleveland Institute of Art.

Amphibian Cordless Clothes Iron - Concept for a cordless, ergonomic, electronically-controlled clothes iron. Temperature/material settings set on recharging stand and transmitted via the electrical contacts. Charging stand can sit on a flat surface or hang on a wall; the iron's position in the recharging stand is adjustable to accommodate either case. Independent design project completed while at the Cleveland Institute of Art.

Phaedra Supercar Form Study - Originally a class project to design and wireframe model a supercar inspired by an animal, this lobster-inspired exploration was revisited two years after the original project (during final semester of studies) and resolved in a 1/5 scale clay model shown here. Independent design project completed while at the Cleveland Institute of Art.
Navmaster - Navigation Computer - An independently developed student concept, this soft-formed solution broke rank with popular geometric and metaphoric trends to instead (re)focus on functionality and user experience. The result was a product concept comprised of impact-friendly curves and a mostly touch-screen interface; all encased in a waterproof, easy-to-hold rubberized form. Executed in early 1993, products closely resembling it in both form and function found their way to market in 2008. Independent design project completed while at the Cleveland Institute of Art.
Toasthed Pull Toy - Relatively quick class project to design and model a toy. Independent design project completed while at the Cleveland Institute of Art.
