Thanks Joe. These seem ancient now... 2001 - 2002 Maybe? But fun sketches. It took so long to learn how to design toys.
Love these sketches! Such a nice animated feel to them.
Thanks, this was back from maybe 2001 or 2002... long time ago. It was a children's geography game made to look like a cell phone. Pen, marker, white pastel. white pencil, a little bit of white out.... OLD SCHOOL.
I like your sketch!
Michael, how come you never showed these toy designs before now? . . .they're ACE!!
They were on an archive CD from way back.... I was digging through stuff.

Wow I would have loved this when I was a kid. Someone should make a cartoon out of this. Bionic Bear! Cartoon Network, where you at?

jesus !! great one !!
a versatile octopus!! i heard octopus is very geneous animal in the sea !! great concept and idea !!~
Thanks you. This sketch is from 2002, and I was just starting to combine digital and analog tools. Pen and markers, with some photoshopped highlights, and background wash. The idea was for a supper plush toy that would protect a child from bumping the corner of a table.
Hey this fun little sketch would be a cool upgrade from the existing boring IKEA corner protectors!! Nice sketch Mike!!
very cool!
Thanks, I wish this one made it to production. He had this elaborate back story about being ripped up by the family dog, and then rebuilt... bionic...
Very cool layout.
Fun stuff!
