Stretch leather upper fits like a sock while the leather wrapped injected Phylite bottom provide cushioning for all day. The CK3's fold up and slip into a small travel bag to fit into your carry on luggage. Featured in Metropolis magazine as one of the 5 shoes that will influence the future of footwear design.
Nike Zoom Street Miler - Lifestyle reinterpretation of one of Nike's best track spikes. This product featured premium leathers and a concealed full length air cushioning unit for all day comfort. The bottom was inspired by the spike. Featured in Metro Pop magazine.
Nike Baltoro 2 - Remixing an old ACG design classic with new technology and construction techniques designed for modern urban use.
Nike Barrette - Traditional Ballet meets Nike Tech, a comfortable, breathable, all day women's lifestyle shoe. Featured in Vogue.
City Knife III sketches - A snapshot into the process behind this design.
Nike Track Dart - Designed to be the ultimate track inspired summer shoe, this product used an engineered mesh quarter panel. The weave of the mesh becomes more open and sheer in the midfoot for breathability. The swoosh is High frequency welded directly to the mesh. This shoe was featured in Metropolis magazine as 1 of 5 products to change the industry.
Nike Zoom Street Celar - Inspired by Marion Jones' elite track spike designed by Kevin Hoffer, this street version featured a concealed full length zoom air cushioning unit fo all day comfort. Launched during the Athens olympics, this shoe was featured in Metro Pop, Vogue, and Sole Collector.
Nike Select Slide - Inspired by the shock absorption of slat beds, a slotted glass filled nylon deck is mounted to a phylite donut creating the feeling of walking on a trampoline. The select was featured in Runners World as the best recovery product of 2005.
Nike Zoom Street Girona
Nike Track Dart 2004 - Super minimal, women's, track inspired, summer lifestyle shoe for European market. A new type of engineered mesh construction was developed with Gold Longjohn for this product. It was featured in Metropolis magazine as one of five shoes to change the industry.

  • Thanks, this is from a conceptual project I did while at Evo Design. I didn't really know how shoes went together, nor much about the footwear marketplace... and it shows... but I always loved this series of drawings and I often reflect on how much easier it was to break the rules when I didn't know what they were!

  • Thanks, I always loved these equestrian inspired casual boots with driving bottom. The proposal was to use the bottom tooling from the City Knife 3. Sometimes a little pencil, marker, and pastel is all you need to make it sing.
