Damon Lunn

I am a 2nd year student at the University of Bradford, Uk. I am looking to secure an industrial placement starting from July 2015 for 12 months in a design related role.

I am studying towards a Bachelor of Science in product design with a predicted grade of a 2:1. I would like the opportunity of working in the design industry in my placement year to further enhance my product knowledge and gain valuable experience in my chosen career sector.

My Degree has helped my develop a strong capability of 2D and 3D design, using software such as Alias Automotive, Solid works, AutoCAD, Illustrator and Photoshop. In addition to this I have studied the modules: Design & Innovation, Product Interaction & Interfacing, Scientific & Mechanical Principles, Materials Technology and Processing, Six Sigma, Manufacturing Systems, and design in context. These have helped me develop a full and rounded understanding of all aspects of the design process.

My previous work history is 4 years in the British Army as a radar engineer. More recently, alongside my current studies I have worked as a part time sales and design assistant.
