After spending eight successful years in the field as a software architect and developer in both Indianapolis and in Silicon Valley, CA, I have recognized that I have unrealized potential as a designer and that my desire is to design for the physical environment over the virtual. The built environment is particularly attractive to me because of the diverse disciplines that have to come together in a successful project, and I believe I have the broad range of skills necessary to be an architect in today's world. My technology background serves me well when it comes to many of the tools involved in current practice and also puts me in a position to innovate and push the boundaries of technological integration with architecture going forward.
I am pleased to have the opportunity to study at Ball State and acquire the design education and knowledge of the industry that I need to enter the field of architecture. I am currently seeking an architecture internship for the Spring 2014 semester, and I am open to relocating in order to find the best fit. Please let me know if you would like to know more about me or if you could introduce me to someone in the field!
