    I am currently a student at Bournemouth University studying BSc Product Design and have recently completed my first year with a 1:1. I am excited for the prospects and new skills that second year will being to further educate me on becoming a professional designer.

    Currently, I am looking for a design placement for 2015/16 in order to widen my skill-set and expertise.

    This portfolio presents my work from my final year at A level and first year at University.

      I was selected for this voluntary role where I have extensive responsibilities. I have to network with companies to build good working relationships. I regularly need to attend and lead meetings to plan overseas expeditions. I also have to present and manage high volumes of people and I am also facilitating the raising of up to £200,000 for charity by 2014/15. This role has enabled me to gain time management and organizational skills.

      PAL is a scheme run in universities which promotes cross year facilitated learning. Here I lead and guide a group of 20 design students through their first year at university. I share my design knowledge with them in order to reassure and enhance their understanding of a particular topic.

      Whilst working for Superdrug, I have to use my knowledge of a particular product in order to increase sales and meet targets. I am a highly trusted employee and regularly have to run departments, cash up and motivate and guide other team members.
      I also have to be highly professional when dealing with customers, phone calls and meeting regional managers.

      In this part time role I had to use my initiative to anticipate customer problems and solve them to ensure they leave happy. I had to remain polite and calm when in difficult situations. I needed to be easy to adapt to varying circumstances in a fast moving work place.
