I am a naturally curious and inquisitive person. It's that spirit of exploration that drives me in design.

My process involves sketching many possibilities before getting my hands dirty testing, and manually working through the design options in the shop. For me, it's imperative to prove viability and explore ergonomics through sketch models.

I love my profession; I design products that ignite the imagination. It is what motivates my holistic approach. I am passionate about product design, branding, graphics, illustration and packaging. I cannot imagine doing anything else.

      Reaction Housing
      Austin, TX
      Jan 2015 - Mar 2016 (1 year 2 months)
Reporting directly to the CEO and the VP of industrial design, I was responsible for much of the pre-production development of the EXO disaster relief shelter. Concept-to-production projects include: watertight electronics housings, interior shades, desks, freight & logistics strategy, interior fire-proofing, and others. On most tasks I had primary responsibility from brief through to factory floor. On more complex projects, I learned and grew tremendously as a designer, by collaborating with top tier engineers, drafters, and builders. Together, in 2015, we succeeded in establishing a manufacturing facility in the USA capable of mass producing this truly remarkable product.
