About
Davin Larkin is a qualified furniture designer and industrial designer with a wealth of experience in the Irish Furniture Industry. Through Kooyong Design, Davin has offered a range of his furniture and product designs which have been sold direct to clients and through retail channels since 2009.
Since September 2011 Davin has also been working as a Design & Innovation lecturer in GMIT Letterfrack. Having studied in GMIT Letterfrack he is fully aware of the unique set of talents that students learn and develop through the college. Lecturing is always a challenging role and Davin feels it is extremely important for him to be practicing what he teaches. This website is a showcase of some of his work, both production and conceptual.
Davin found design to be his passion at a young age and has engrossed himself in it ever since. This passion for design has taken him to many places, both for recreation and education to the benefit of his knowledge of design and the industry itself. Over his years of study and work he has gathered many skills and continues to learn new things everyday.

The company is involved in a large range of projects from private commissions to full hotel fit-outs giving me a wealth of experience in many areas.
Due to the small size of the company I was involved in every aspect of the business from initial concept development, design proposals, production drawings, budgeting & costing, site visits, manufacturer visits, project management, account management, client relations, final installation and many other aspects of the business. -
