Having earned a Bachelors of Science in Fashion Design and Merchandising has allowed me to work in various positions that involves creativity and professional skills. I have been the Head Costume Designer for various projects as well as a hired Sketch Artist on a freelance basis. I am able to create designs from beginning to end...I sketch, drape, pattern, sew and execute the final design if necessary, or simply shop for the desired look and embellish or alter it. I have become proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, all Adobe programs and Excel among other computer programs. I have also been an Assistant Designer and Technical Designer for a few Fashion Companies where I've gained a lot of skills and experience. I bring a level of integrity and creativity to my job performance that I believe to be invaluable. I want to continue in the field of Costume Design and build upon my resume.
