I currently run my business of Express It Art, teaching art lessons to children and adults out of my studio. Occasionally I go to different sites to give paint events to adults.

Logo Artist (2 years), Graphic Designer/Composition Artist (10 years) and occasionally Order Entry - Groton, MA . (Times overlap, work in two departments at once.) Just laid off last December, 2020. * Lead Graphics Technician. Communicate with sales representatives, company dealers and customers in troubleshooting technical issues in their artwork so it arrives to us in high quality files. * Work primarily with electronic files that arrive for any of the following programs: Illustrator, Quark, InDesign, Photoshop, Pagemaker, Corel Draw, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher. * Work on Mac and PC platforms. * Convert them into vector files, if possible, and prepare them for Quark templates for the composition artists. * Prepare High quality, full-color files for pre-press. Work with other printing companies and send files through their FTP servers. * Update department database with order status using Comet interface. * Train in-coming artists to work in our department. (Presently training three new people virtually using Webex virtual system.) * Assist in three other departments as needed: Composition, Logo, and Artwork Services. * Training in a new process of loading optimized PDF's to the internet for websites. As a Logo Artist: * Scan artwork from hard copies and also work with electronic files. * Redraw artwork using Photoshop and Illustrator, Live Trace and Streamline, then complete the layout in Quark and send out proof or release to press. * Work with sales representatives in a fast-paced environment.

Scanned photos, edited and enhanced quality in Photoshop. * Designed signs in Illustrator for layout and production department. * Worked with owner on customer detailing and worked with the production department on specs for finished product. * Sent all files into production.

- evening position - Taught Go Live one semester and also was an intern for 1 year.

one year - Interned after completing my Web and Graphics Certificate. * Assisted teachers and students in the web classes and went on to teach a Go Live. Pioneer Computer College - Temporary position Desktop Publisher, worked in InDesign * Re-laid out their booklet for the MCAS test from their 2002 layout to their new 2003 layouts.

Interned at their graphics company for one year. * Designed and altered artwork, brochures, business cards, ads, logos, calendars and photos. Quark, Illustrator, Photoshop Mac platform.
