Responsible for design, market research,benchmarking.

Health Desk is a dedicated workstation incorporating health information and education. The prompt delivery of health information and education can help patients to follow the medical treatment plan, which can reduce readmissions/costs, and have a positive impact on patient health.

The purpose of Health Desk is to engage and impact all three facets of the healthcare industry:

1. Medical Facility
This platform can aid increased accountability into operational savings and increased revenue collection.
2. Doctor
• Health Desk creates a socially responsibly, ergonomic work station which invites a collaborative and productive patient / doctor experience.
3. Patient
• Health desk engages and educates the patient to take an active role in their health care experience decreasing the rigors of a sometime scary journey through illness.

Wood prototype made of sheets of wood assembled. No solid pieces of wood were used to built the prototype. Commercial Touchscreen embedded. Aluminium legs made by steel workshop. Position 1 as a flat working surface, where information is displayed for both practitioner and patient. Interaction and big screen would allow patient engagement and better understanding of his/her health condition.

First end-user assessment at the Woodshop in Chicago, Illinois in the second half of 2013. Position 2 as a touchscreen, keyboard is assembled into the table and under the touchscreen in a flat position.
