About
Hiya! I’m Devin, and I’m an Industrial Designer. I’m interested in package design and softgoods design. I love the challenge of turning a two-dimensional material like cloth or paper into a 3d design. Recently I designed and constructed a camping backpack for the Boy Scout Brand. Currently, I have an internship working with middle schoolers, teaching them art and design thinking. I love the look on their faces when they overcome the obstacles of traditional school learning, and start learning creatively. I study Industrial Design at the Columbus College of Art & Design.

Saturday Morning Art Class Student AssistantColumbus College of Art and DesignColumbus, OHJun 2015 - Present (11 years 1 month)When I began the job, I was a supply runner. I worked in the SMAC supply closet, organizing materials and preparing kits for the classes. I was then moved to be a classroom assistant for the Spring 2016 Fashion Class, where I help the instructor prepare for class, clean up afterwards, and aid students with their projects. Through Summer of 2016, I continued to assist a variety of week long summer workshops, from Mural Painting with high school teens to Paper Toys with second and third graders.
