The best decision I ever made was to go back to school for my Masters degree in Information Design. I took advantage of my opportunities and landed a great internship with Community Central in which I learned to use my design skills in a non profit organization. I love to constantly push my creative ideas to the limit and creating art that is appealing and conceptual. It was more than education in the classrooms for me. I traveled to China and saw a whole new world of graphic design. From the beautiful Chinese characters to the intricate designs of hand made art, the beauty was limitless. During my educational experience in CCSU, I learned more about video art and now have a passion for creating beautiful videos. Look at my Video Art section of my portfolio and you will see exactly what I mean. Enjoy my work!!

  • Education
    • Master of Arts (M.A.) Information Design
      Central Connecticut State University
      2012 - 2014
During my study at CCSU, I participated in art shows with the Chair of the Design Department, Eleanor Thornton. The Burlap Festival was held in October of 2012 and the Framed Art Show was held during the University Museum Community Collaborative at the New Britain Museum of American Art. These art shows taught me how to prepare for functions as well as how to market the events. These functions helped me create a great relationship with Hannah Hurwitz, who works at the Office of Community Engagement in CCSU. I am part of the marketing campaign that helps promote and advertise Community Central. Every month, I design a brochure that includes a calendar and special events for the community. I also work on designing flyers for any events that need promoting.
    • Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Minor in Art History Graphic Design
      Eastern Connecticut State University
      2007 - 2011
My major was in Visual Arts with a concentration in Digital Art and Design and a minor in Art History. I was on dean's list for the 2010 to 2011 academic year. During my study at ECSU, I participated in design work with real clients, such as the Willimantic Wildlife Habitat, Dorothy C. Goodwin Elementary School, Annie E. Vinton Elementary School, Thread City Development Inc., and the Willimantic Screen Project. My stop motion animation was projected on a window during the Screen Project. During my last semester, I was presented with the "Most Growth in Discipline" award.
