Target audience: Women 25-55. Mom who is overdue for a day to herself. She’s neglected self-care for much too long and is starting to feel it. It’s hard for her to spend money or time on herself. Most of the audience have younger kids but even those with fully grown kids are dealing with them taking up lots of her time and headspace. She needs relaxation.
Business goal: Get long time customers back into the spa
Copywriting strategy: My objective was to provide strong incentive for readers to act. I used language that invokes a feeling of relaxation and rejuvenation. I included a list of the luxury services being offered and their benefits to remind her of what she’s missing by not putting herself first (sometimes). I ended the email with reassurance that this is right and a strong call to action button.
