Alex Dorfman

A coffee table designed with Indiana hardwood, Bam Bam alludes to a more personal history. Growing up at family events, my distant cousin Iwao Takamoto would usually come and sketch for us. Iwao worked with Hannah-Barbera as an illustrator from the early days. He drew for Jetsons, Scooby Doo, and the Flintstones. Although Scooby was always my favorite, this piece is an homage to Bam Bam’s giant club he could never be found without.
