This project was created as a submission for a magazine cover design contest, focused on capturing attention at first glance while maintaining strong editorial hierarchy. The goal was to balance bold visual impact with clean typography, ensuring the cover could compete on a crowded newsstand. I explored composition, color contrast, and type scale to guide the viewer’s eye—from the masthead to the primary feature story and supporting headlines. This piece reflects my ability to design within real-world editorial constraints while still pushing for a visually engaging and modern aesthetic.
