Using the feedback from the initial interviews and user probe kits, I organized the data using affinity and empathy mapping. This helped me create the user point's of view.
A quick task based storyboard helped me develop a quick initial app layout to use as a paper prototype. I reinterviewed the original participants using the storyboard and paper prototype, documenting their feedback.
Using all of the research gathered from interviews and testing I was able to create a much more complete flow chart of the apps functions. Using Adobe XD I created a rough screen based layout of the app. I linked the screens a created a functioning prototype for more testing, which was done with some of the original participants. This testing validated the concept enough to determine that the app would work for the user.

Fitness App Concept

Busy professionals and students have little time to fit in the exercise they need. An app that understands this will help make fitting in exercise a breeze and be worth buying. Using the Design Thinking methodology I was able to concept an app that was easy to use and worked to get the users exercising. I used all five steps in an iterative format to develop a final app concept.
