Initial research on customers and trends was followed by ideation of concepts. A handful of concepts were worked further for client review. An iterative review process resulted in numerous changes to the concept until final approval.
I created Rhino 3d surface models based on the approved concept. Driver visibility was verified in the models, through the windshield to the front and through the mirrors to the back. Final models were sent to the client to create mold patterns using a CNC high density foam cutter.

RV Cap Design

Coachmen RV needed a refreshed look on one of their high end Class A RVs to keep up with the trends in the market. E91 developed the styling and created the models for the front and rear fiberglass caps. This project, along with others, helped Coachmen improve their market share the next year. I worked with their marketing manager to create a style that “looked like it was moving when it was standing still.” Using their customer research, and my research into the trends, I was able to ideate a number of concepts. An iterative approach was used to finalize the design before translating the caps into 3d models.
