Static versions of all the icons.
As an example project, Designers For worked with Industrial Designers from Massart's 10th floor. The ID students felt as if they were alienated from the rest of the Massart community, being seen as "Commercial designers", and "not really artists." To combat this mentality a Pop-Up art gallery showing examples of a new student's work every week. A guest book was kept near to record people's reactions which were overall very positive. The Pop-up gallery helped engender a new idea of the 10th floor Industrial Designers.
Finished projects like the Pop-Up gallery are added to the organization's compendium. This is a collection of projects that are shown to other communities so that they might be encouraged to call us, or act on their own if there's a similar problem in their community. Transparency in the effects of projects is key. We show both good and bad results so that everyone can learn from the projects and develop them further.

Designers For

My Thesis project centered around a community oriented design firm. Designers For goes into communities, discover true issues, and designs tangible artifacts for them. We use the community input to both direct designs and construct them, emphasizing a strong community above all.
