I work at the intersection of enterprise AI, regulated medical systems, and complex platform architecture. Different domains, same discipline — translating significant technical complexity into workflows people can understand, trust, and control.

At Google, I lead UX across enterprise AI surface 0→1 agent platform built around how large organizations safely adopt AI; and AppSheet, a mature 2.5M+ user platform I helped modernize as AI became part of the story. Both demanded the same instinct: respect what already works, then make the new layer earn its place.

Before Google, I led design at Arthrex across a connected ecosystem of surgical products — handheld devices, embedded consoles, OR-scale integration, and post-operative software. In the operating room, an interface inconsistency isn't just friction; it's a use-error governed by FDA and IEC 62366. My work bridged industrial design and embedded UI so physical and digital systems behaved as a single control plane.

Earlier, I directed graduate design programs and built peer-reviewed research in spatial UX investigating how presence, media richness, and spatial overlay shape what users understand.

What ties this together is a posture: take the system seriously, take the user seriously, and let the gap between them be the design problem.
