Travel Kit - Gillette Live

I designed a shaving travel kit enabling professional men to have all the necessary artillery to shave whilst travelling, in one small, convenient and great looking package.

Including shaving gel, moisturiser, a mirror, and a miniature handle with a ProGlide razor head, the product is sold alongside the newly released ProGlide range.

An important feature in this design was the method of opening the draw that holds the handle and razor. The user is urged to touch the ‘Gillette’ logo and slide the ‘G’ across to open it up. This type of interaction with a brand really reinforces brand loyalty, often without the user knowing. They are connected to the brand in a more intimate way.

Gillette briefed us to design a product that would make people feel good about themselves. Travelling can be stressful, especially the preparation. No man wants to have to take the large canisters of shaving gel on his travels and having this smart kit goes some way at least to alleviating those stresses.
