About
For a number of years I have been providing public relations and marketing services to small and mid-sized companies. I have always had a fascination with all things relating to advertising, promotion and branding. When an opportunity presented itself to help a fledgling business re-brand itself, I just suggested a few simple modifications to their current marketing and advertising plan.
I was surprised by the next question.
"How much would you charge to implement these changes?" .
Voila. A small business was born.
Through word of mouth JWH Enterprises began to provide marketing and P.R. assistance to a number of local businesses such as White-Wiley Construction, The Ross Management Group and Forest City Construction. From those initial relationships I formed my business, which thrives to this day.
In 2005, I answered a call from Sundance Public Relations. Our primary focus was in the insurance industry, working with such recognized carriers as ING, Allianz Life and Old Mutual Financial Group. It was a great ride, and every day was an adventure. But all good adventures must come to an end.
Thus Emphasis Marketing & Communications was formed in 2009. Through Emphasis, my goal is to provide the highest eschelon of service to my clients. I want to take all the skills expertise I have acquired over the years to provide a unique and highly proactive alternative to insure that my current and future clients have the best possible service to meet their marketing, public relations and communications needs.
In short, I want to change the perspective of my clients, and subsequently their clients, one design at a time. -

Through emergency, catastrophic, and holiday assistance, as well as educational scholarships, the foundation has created a tradition of caring for the LGBT community. For more than 30 years, the foundation has provided over $2.75 million dollars to those in need. Most importantly, such assistance has built a stronger LGBT community, and transformed thousands of lives throughout Colorado.
As Communications director, responsibilities include database maintenance, website enhancement, conduct media outreach, followup stories about TAF grant recipients, and to cultivate relationships with media contacts to help promote the mission of TAF. -
