Serves as the initial point of contact for internal customers and fulfills request for all commercial printing, publishing services, and design services. By conducting meetings with customers in order to identify needs, establish guidelines and create schedules for procuring and designing work. Acts as an liaison between customers, the Government Printing Office and approved outside vendors. Accurately prepares a variety of procurement documents and writes specifications in order to prepare statements of work that accurately describe the requested services. Design, develop and manage a wide variety of design products simultaneously while maintaining brand standards. Provide print production support by printing and mounting posters, comb and coil binding booklets, scanning images and laminating. Perform quality assurance analysis via pre-production meetings and other meetings throughout the production process to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance to IRS guidelines for all work produced by contractors and vendors. Coordinates the design, printing, delivery, and distribution of printed products by analyzing the requirements, developing the distribution patterns, and establishing stocking points for new publications, forms, and other printed products. Appropriately committing funds, maintaining budget levels by requesting an increase in funds and de-obligating unused funds to ensure legal procurement that is cost effective. Releases products for electronic media and post them to IRS.GOV and the publishing internal repository. Professionally utilized Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) while working with both Macintosh and Windows platforms.
