I’m a 4th year Industrial Design student at the University of Cincinnati with a passion for creating inspiration. I believe that as designers our challenge is to create connections that resonate with people on both a physical and emotional level.

I am interested in designing sophisticated products that have charming interactions and offer simple but clever experiences. I believe that all factors of a design should be considered, from research to production and all the details in between. When these factors function harmoniously as a collective whole the result is a truly successful design.

Most of my work at Kohler consisted of sketching and prototyping potential concepts for the faucets design team. All of the work was confidential and I met with my supervisor weekly to review concepts and progress. I worked for the most part independently and the project I worked on involved heavy material research and months of gathering information which I then processed into a working concept. This design was printed and further refined to a final 3D printed prototype.

BPI (Batesville Products Inc) is an aluminum and zinc foundry known for taking on molds that other foundries refuse to work with due to difficulty of the castings. During the time that I worked at BPI I designed a full mold tooling and several tooling fixtures and introduced them to the possibility of using rapid prototyping to their advantage. I set BPI up with the rapid prototyping vendor Solid Concepts and designed inspection fixtures that were stereo-lithographically printed to help save money on machining costs. I also did some graphic design work for them and developed a brochure for the sales team that gave a general description of the company and it's advantages.
