Franklin Products is a Airline seat manufacturer.
My role within the Engineering team is to deal with Engineering change requests (ECR). To adjust our drawings, general production paperwork, to account for Customer request in design changes, to adjust design flaws, or make adjustments to paperwork for continuous improvement, and label adjustments, which is then used to create the seat cushions.
I have learnt how production interpret information from engineering to get the final product. How a part is created from knifing foam, bonding foam together, adding the fabric cover on top. Using different tools, templates, presses, knifing machines to create different effects on the final cushion.

Taking calls. Solving customers problems, and restaurants. Dealing with complaints, order delays. Restaurant changes. Have to be quick and efficient to collect as much information and solve the issue on hand. Sending forms for changes to be done, from menu changes, price changes, Change of ownership, review forms, complaint forms, Repair JCT product forms, refund forms. Working within a large team, being able to communicate clearly with collegues.
